When thinking of Smyth Jewelers you likely don’t think about anything other than jewelry right? Well if you’ve been following me for a while you’ll remember that I shared some of the other amazing gifts outside of jewelry that Smyth carries online and in store. Even outside of gift giving season though they have so many great locally made/locally inspired items that are great gifts to give or to just pick up for yourself!
I had the opportunity to pop into the Timonium Smyth Jewelers location last week and snag a couple of my favorite Maryland inspired items that I know I’ll be incorporating into my home decor and summer beach bag.
First up, this pillow.
While I know it says Rehoboth Beach, which is technically Delaware, it’s still been our go-to down the shore location lately :). The best part, this pillow comes in Ocean City, MD, Annapolis, MD and even Baltimore, MD! The perfect accent to any couch or even a great housewarming gift.
Next up, this Kim Hovell Salty Shore candle.
I’ve personally been an admirer of Kim’s work for a while so when I found out that her paintings are now available on amazing smelling candles I couldn’t help but pick this beauty up. It’s the perfect summer accent to our living room. There are even oyster shell paintings across some of her other candles that I might end up heading back and snagging for friends (…or adding to my own candle collection).
Now you all know I’m a sucker for a good cheese board. So when I saw this Soundview Millworks, customizable, cheese board I knew I had to have it. The perfect serving board for all your summer parties. It’s another great item to gift for a housewarming!
Am I the only one who is a sucker for a good beach bag? I definitely have more than any normal beach goer needs but hey… I just can’t resist and this one was no exception. This tote is the perfect size for packing all your beach goodies. From sunscreen and beach towels to the essentials… like snacks. This bag will definitely be coming on all future beach and boat days.
While we’re on the topic of things to fill your beach bag, this towel was an easy grab when I saw it hanging up at Smyth. Not only is it the perfect size but you’ll be able to scout your towel amongst all the other beach bums because of it’s unique map design plotted with all your favorite local spots.
And my favorite thing, that you can bet I’ll be using this upcoming holiday week, is this Corckcicle canteen that I customized with this adorable crab decal (#Maryland).
Now besides this canteen being adorable it also holds an entire bottle of wine. Yes, that’s right… an ENTIRE BOTTLE will fit in this canteen.
