Wedding Series: Bride Tribe Vibes

Wedding Series: Bride Tribe Vibes

I cannot believe it is already Matt and I’s wedding month! It seems like after we hit the 100 day mark time has been FLYING by. I had originally wanted to get this post out way earlier in my wedding series but better late than never, right? 🙂

When I was thinking of all the details of planning our wedding I knew I wanted to get each of my girls in my bridal party something special. I wanted their gift not only to be something they could wear the day of the wedding but also after the day; somewhat of a keepsake to remind them just how special they are to me and how such a big part of our day they truly were.

So when Smyth Jewelers reached out to me about collaborating on some bridal party gift ideas I was excited but a bit hesitant. While I wanted my gifts to be meaningful and special, I didn’t budget to spend hundreds of dollars on each gift; which is what I naively thought were the only gift options at Smyth.

Well, I certainly was wrong about what they had to offer.

I don’t know about anyone else but I didn’t realize the vast selection of items that Smyth sells. I had always thought of them as any other jewelry store with engagement rings, diamond bracelets or pricey watches.

I sure was wrong.

I walked in and immediately saw (after the plate of cookies that were welcoming me into the store) everything from stuffed gift items to tumblers and even adorable Maryland specific gifts. Shortly after arriving I was greeted by a Smyth employee who helped me narrow down exactly what I was looking for. I gave her my criteria: (1) I wanted something that could be worn every day but also look good dressed up (2) I wanted something that was not too traditional and (3) I wanted to stay right around $100 per gift.

After doing a couple laps around the store, I found three items that fit what I was looking for:

Anna Beck Mini Bar Necklace

Criteria Met: Simple enough to wear every day but versatile enough for the girl who loves gold or the girl who strictly wears silver. Also, personally being a big Anna Beck fan this piece was so reasonably priced and fell into my budget for a Bridesmaid gift. Price: $100

Pandora Bangle

Criteria Met: When I think Pandora I typically think of the traditional charm building bracelet so when I saw this bangle I immediately fell in love; non-traditional. It also was another piece that can be worn every day but dressy enough to add a little something extra to act as wedding day jewelry. Price: $100

Slate & Tell Personalized Cuff

Criteria Met: While cuff bracelets are not necessarily a “new thing”, I personally own quite a few, I think the ability to personalize these cuffs with whatever I wanted was the non-traditional unique thing I was looking for in a gift. Being honest, Slate and Tell was a brand I had never heard of so when the salesgirl at Smyth brought me to the case I was pleasantly surprised. Not only unique, their pieces are affordable AND this cuff can be worn on the wedding day and every day. Win, win, win right? Price: $79

I thought finding gifts to match my criteria was going to be difficult but as it turns out, with the help of Smyth Jewelers, THAT was the easy part! Now the hard part comes into play, I have to actually decide what I’ll be giving my girls!

So tell me, are you a Bride that recently had to get some bridal party gifts? OR are you a member of a bridal party that got a pretty amazing gift? I want to know! Comment below and share!

Also, If you’re hoping to visit a Smyth, they have three locations in Maryland – Timonium, Ellicott City, and Annapolis. Swing by the Annapolis location and tell them Craving Currently sent ya!

Until my next craving!

XO!
