Getting Dressy This Holiday with Tobi.

It’s crazy that Thanksgiving is this week! I feel like I say it every year but this year really feels like the Holiday season just creeped up on us. Possibly because we had a Summer-like September and October with high temperatures and it only recently started feeling like truly Fall – whatever it is the Holiday season, and Holiday party season, is upon us.

Every year I find myself scrambling to find the perfect outfit for Holiday parties. Whether a work Holiday party, a Friendsgiving or Christmas Eve shindig – I tend to wait until the last minute and I’m rummaging through the racks to find the perfect outfit. This year I decided to take a bit different of an approach and actually put some looks together early to hopefully avoid the stress and crowds at the last minute.

When searching for the anchor for all my looks I decided to browse Tobi – an online Women’s boutique that has a vast collection of dresses – it was here that I began to build the base of all my looks!

For my first look I decided to stay a bit casual. I chose this amazing burgundy maxi and paired it with this faux leather jacket that has been a staple in my wardrobe lately. To make the look a bit more glam I finished the look with some statement earrings.

My second look was a bit out of my comfort zone – I don’t wear many pink or blush tones so I paired this dress with that same staple piece from above – my faux leather jacket. It took the dress to a bit more of a casual vibe and accessorized with a simple earring.

And finally – look three; this look was the most formal out of all three. The fabric on this maxi just felt like it needed to be paired with a faux fur vest. I’ve had this vest for a couple years now and it’s honestly one of the best winter purchases I’ve made – it has seemed to last through the years and I’ve paired it with so many different looks; this one might be my favorite though!
