GUYS, I can’t believe it’s July. Why is 2016 going by so quickly?
Earlier this week I attended an event at City Garage for Sagamore Spirit; not only did I get to see the interworkings of how they made and bottled their whiskey, I got some amazing recipes for Summertime drinks & some HUGE 4th of July decor goals.
Ever since seeing their set up I’ve been #cravingcurrently how to recreate a backyard BBQ that could measure up to their excellence.
Let’s start at the top… #priorities
What goes better with BBQ than a cocktail? The Sagamore team shared three delicious recipes that easily could be recreated at home.
Farmers Market Punch – Sagamore Rye, Strawberry Lemonade & Fresh Basil
Tom Boy – Sagamore Rye, Raspberry honey syrup & Fresh Mint
Maryland Mule – Sagamore Rye, Ginger Beer & Frime Lime
Some of my other favorite Summertime concotions are:
Sangria | This recipe from Gimmie Some Oven will absolutely be a crowd pleaser
Margaritas | Another favorite from Gimmie Some Oven
Some other things that they had at their BBQ were Oysters, Deviled Eggs, Pulled Pork and BBQ chicken – all courtsey of the delicious Ryleigh’s Oyster .
Some of my favorite recipes – with a 4th of July twist:
Deviled Eggs | Red White & Blue Deviled Eggs
Pulled Chicken | BBQ Pulled Chicken Sandwhiches
Fruit Salad | Red White & Blue
So tell me, what are you doing for the 4th of July?
Cheers!
