Whether it’s scrolling through the Spring South Moon Under lookbook, my Pinterest feed, some of my favorite Fashion blogs or Instagram I’ve noticed some recurring trends. Whether it’s a flared pant, a cutout sleeve or a mini side bag – I’m loving what’s showing up for 2016 so far.

Here are five of the latest 2016 trends that I just can’t get enough of – oh – and some of my favorite picks from the categories as well!

Shoulder Cutouts

Almost every designer for 2016 fashion week had some sort of shoulder cutout in their collection – I started my collection last year with a Zara dress and the Free People cutout sweater. I couldn’t be more excited that this trend will continue into 2016.

Bandana’s

Now I’m not talking about your traditional around your head Bruce Springsteen style bandana :). I’m talking using a bandana in place of a necklace or bracelet. This trend has been popping up everywhere – still need to snag one for my closet.

Mini Bags

I’ve always been the girl with the big bag so besides being obsessed with some of these bags – this trend might cure my purse clutter. I know I’ve already posted this beauty – but it was worth a second post :).

The Flared Denim

Totally wanted to get into this last year – not “brand new” trend – but I never did. I’ll be taking this year as my opportunity to add a pair of these to my denim rotation :).

Long Sleeved Maxis

Perfect for the transition into Spring – I purchased the one above from Zara during their big sale in January (sold out now but available via that eBay link) and cannot wait to wear it as the temps warm up.
