Don’t you just love those weekends when you have no plans and you can just go with the flow? I was #cravingcurrently some relaxation at home and I got just that.
Only yesterday when I was reflecting back (well, looking through my iPhone photos) I noticed this weekend not only was relaxing but it was also an amazing food weekend.
From breakfast to dinner I had some amazing foods and realized I just had to share some of these meals.
Friday
Since it’s Lent I can’t eat meat on Friday’s – we didn’t want to go out anywhere so decided to order a pizza. Hands down – this was one of the best veggie pizza’s I’ve had – it’s called the Vegetable Supreme.
They have multiple locations – Mount Vernon, Federal Hill, Canton, and Columbia. No excuses not to check this place out!
Saturday
Breakfast
We got to sleep in (one of my favorite things to do) and then headed to one of our go-to spots in Fells Point Daily Grind.
Kept it simple – ham, egg, & cheese on an everything bagel. I couldn’t get a snap of my boyfriend’s bagel quick enough π but he had a sausage, egg, & cheese on everything.
Did a little exploring of this amazing city and stopped by Second Chance Inc. across from Ravens stadium and the Horseshoe Casino. We didn’t need anything but this place is a cool spot if you ever need some raw supplies for a home project. We just enjoyed the browsing.
“What is and what can be.“ – currently obsessing over this quote.
After sifting through some things there we headed off to Hampden; it was a beautiful day for some Antique shop exploring.
Lunch
My boyfriend thought we just so happened to stumble in to The Food Market, but he should have known better π – it was part of my plan. We had a late lunch there – this place never disappoints.
Pretzels & Beer Cheese
Pat Lafrieda Burger
Crab Cake Sandwich
And some afternoon refreshments to top it all off.
Quay Australia sunnies from Brightside Boutique in Fells Point.
Dinner
Our lunch was so late we decided we could just have dessert for dinner (no complaints here). Lobo is right around the corner from our house – so we took a break from our The People vs. OJ marathon and stopped in for a fudge brownie sundae (a special that night) – highly recommend!
Sunday
Breakfast
We wanted to run some errands (aka, Matt wanted to go to Home Depot and I wanted to get to the grocery store early to beat the crowd) but figured we needed some fuel for the day. I saw 3 Bean Coffee on Instagram a couple weeks ago so figured we could try it out. We WILL be back for sure – it was amazing.
Soy Vanilla Latte
Spinach & Goat Cheese Quiche from Dangerously Delicious
Disclaimer: I again couldn’t get a picture of Matt’s food – but he had a regular drip coffee and a chocolate croissant.
After errands we took Zara to the dog park – it was 65 degrees and sunny outside!
Lunch/Dinner
We bowl at Mustang Alley on Sunday’s in a fun friends league so decided to hold off, skip lunch, and have a big dinner after bowling- it was well worth the wait.
Dinosaur BBQ is new(ish) in Fells Point – we’ve had take out a couple times but we decided to eat in this time. It was an amazing end to a delicious food filled weekend.
Garlic Chipotle Wings
Pick Two Platter – Mac & Cheese, Crunchy Coleslaw, BBQ Brisket & 1/4 Chicken.
Now I’m getting hungry again… π
Cheers!
