superbowl snacking.

The biggest game of the year is upon us yet again – the  s u p e r b o w l.

Across most TV/News outlets they’ve already been pumping everyone up for the big game since it’s Superbowl Week!

Personally, I am a Baltimore Ravens fan so this year didn’t pan out in my favor for having a team contender in the big game; or even the playoffs for that matter #sigh. But, nothing to get down about here, some of the best parts of Superbowl Sunday are based out of the kitchen. 🙂

While I don’t think I have the skills to make the famous Sehkraft Brewing giant twisted, pretzel pictured above, I have been #cravingcurrently some of my (friend circle famous) Hungry Girl adapted Buff Chick Dip. This will certainly be on my Sunday menu, BUT, for those of you who aren’t as buffalo obsessed as I am, here’s a list of some of my go-to belly filling football snacks.

Baked Bacon Wrapped Velveeta Jalapeno Poppers

Not only are these little poppers delicious – they are SO easy to make.

Southwestern Egg Rolls with Avocado Ranch

Again, a super easy recipe anyone can follow – I made these for a Superbowl party a couple years ago and they were a HUGE hit.

Cheesy Party Burgers

In October we had a Halloween party and I made this little gems of goodness. They were ooey gooey and just perfection. A bit more involved than the recipes above but well worth it! mini-cheeseburger-party-buns-01

Velveeta Spicy Sausage Dip

This is seriously the EASIEST (I repeat, EASIEST) recipe to make. If you are looking to serve a large group and thoroughly impress them make this recipe. End of story.

Mac & Cheese Bites

This is actually a recipe my Mom makes all the time for parties – it’s super easy! She doesn’t have it written down anywhere so I couldn’t give you all the exact link BUT I found the attached recipe on Pinterest. Essentially the same recipe!

Cheesy Bacon Pull Apart Bread

I made this for a Superbowl party last year and it was yet again another HUGE hit – easy to eat and share!

Spinach Artichoke Cups

It’s been a couple years since I’ve whipped this recipe up but it’s definitely a good one!

Well there you have it guys – a collection of some of the simplest satisfying bites suitable for any Superbowl party – even if that party is only you and your roomie ;).

Cheers!
